Yup. Another Star Slinger track. It's not my fault he keeps on releasing fantastic music! (And he better doesn’t stop any time soon…)

No golden oldie this week, but something I discovered in Barcelona.
I stood there -In Parc Güell- with my jaw on the floor... what a mesmerizing sound!

I really like the lyrics of this song. And their voices. Both unique and matching very well.
Bedouin Soundclash have just released a new album, Light The Horizon, featuring this beautiful track.
I’ve got to be honest and say that I’m not a fan of Coeur De Pirate’s solowork, but her collabs are always solid. Like this remix of one of her songs, Comme Des Enfants by Le Matos, it’s perfect to me.

Inside Out is a 1988’s song by The Mighty Lemon Drops.
“This is called Inside Out” </fawning over Paul marsh's wicked/fine/lush accent - working my British beat yeah, cheers!>

Listen! It’s the eighties in 2010!
How long has it been since I wrote that I was in love with a song? At the most three post? Maybe four? But yeah, here I am again: falling head over heels for this song. It's getting ridiculous!

To me, Star Slinger is a musical genius.
Did you hear that? A-MA-ZING. And for all you eye-rolling smart-asses out there: take a sample and make me a track that is even better, okay?
Remember Alpine? He made them sound godlike.
You can download all of his music here, for free!

We all have this one friend who doesn’t has to make any effort to look like a fool when they step out on the dance floor. Especially when this song is playing. Guaranteed they’ll give a passionate lip-syncing performance (falling on the knees included).
And yes, I’m more than happy to sink to their level (literally) and pour my heart and soul into Ellen Foley/Karla DeVito’s part. After all, you can’t do a duet by yourself…

Ben Folds’ new album was just released three days ago and already I have one of the songs on repeat!
Lonely Avenue features the following tracks:
All the lyrics are written by Nick Hornby, you know: the writer of High Fidelity and About a Boy, and put to music by Folds. The album has a bit of a 70’s feel to it which, as you know, I love.
